MEASUREMENT SOFTWARE:
A patented equipment
The geometrical center of the pupils will vary according to the asymmetry of the subject's face. As any optician knows, the center of the eye may be pinpointed using light reflected from the cornea.
Accordingly, Acep has developed an instrument identifying this "natural" center.
The right distance
The Smart Centration System takes the head position into consideration. The patient who has adopted natural head and body posture will simply look at himself in the mirror from about 2 meters. The mirror's effect extends the distance, simulating infinity and therefore avoids any measuring error.
All the measurements
The Smart Centration provides all the centration data required for proper fitting of the lenses (monocular PD, segment height, pantoscopic tilt, vertex distance, binocular PD, reading distance, A, B and ED, DBL values as required by manufacturers).
Simple
Like other Acep products, Smart Centration System is not a computer but rather a video system equipped with a touch-screen and no mouse or keyboard. Its use is immediately intuitive and requires no preliminary training. Each step is displayed clearly on the screen, and the user is guided through the entire process.
Fast and flexible
In addition to being quick and simple to use, eyecare professionals will appreciate the time effi ciency of the system. Once the image is captured, measurements can be done in a glimpse at any time. The photo can be printed in real size and used to follow up the procedure begun on the screen or to doublecheck the measurements.
SMART LOOK SOFTWARE:
Frame selection
One-third of eye glass wearers cannot view themselves without their eyewear. This option enables patients to view themselves in up to four frame styles at a time on a display screen. Each image may be enlarged to a full screen view and the frame selection may be changed at any time to view additional styles.
Anti-reflective treatment simulation
With this option it is quick and easy to sell anti-reflective lens treatment. It simulates the patient wearing their frame style and lens selection with and without anti-reflective treatment. The unit demonstrates visual and cosmetic benefits of anti-reflective treatment, and easily shows how this lens treatment is of value to the patient's lifestyle.
Prescription lens selection & comparison
Educate your patients on the various lens materials and styles available. Enter a patient's prescription and the system provides accurate lens thickness and weight comparisons. Patients can see the lens benefits and features and make educated purchase decision. You will undoubtedly increase sales of premium lens products.
Photochromic & polarized lens simulation
This option will allow you to simulate both activated photochromic and non-activated and polarized lenses, including the visual benefits they provide the wearer. In additional solid and gradient tints can be simulated.
Colored contacts lenses
Consumers can view themselves in colored contact lenses without having to physically try them on which saves your staff valuable time. Up to 6 images can be viewed at a time; each with the possibility of a full screen enlargement.

3d simulation videos optimize highly effective treatments, (anti-reflective coating simulation, Drive Wear lenses, polarized lenses, transitions lenses and contact lens applications).
