| How many units have been sold worldwide ? The Company has sold a over 1000 units within the United States and 10,000 total units worldwide. |
| Is financing available for your products ? Yes. We work with Group Financial Services but other financing companies are also available. Typical financing involves a 48 month lease with a $1 buy out. |
| Why can't I insert your software in my own computer ? To ensure the highest quality results, we furnish you with an integrated, turn-key system including a high resolution display, a high-definition camera and high speed CPU. If our clients used our software on Windows, we would not be able to guaranty the quality or stability of the products. Furthermore, due to HIPPA mandates, it is not advisable to mix your dispensing systems with your internal practice computers. |
| How difficult is it to use for non-computer oriented people ? The Smart Mirror / Smart Look is not a computer and works more like a television set with a remote control. We also offer the touch screen option (Standard on Smart-Look) which is even simpler to use, since all you have to do is to follow the prompts indicated on the screen itself. Within 15 minutes, even a computer novice can become a dispensing genius ! |
| What range of Frames, lenses and contact lens products does it cover ? Our Smart Dispensing Systems work to sell only the products you have chosen for your practice. As for frames, Smart Mirror / Smart Look has no database because we don't want the customers to try on frames you do not carry in your dispensary. Patients will simply make a selection of the frames available in your store and the camera will take pictures of them wearing your frame styles. As for Spectacle Lenses and color contact lenses, we carry all the brands and models available on the market and up-date our database whenever new products come out on the market. You have the option to select and display only the product range you represent in your dispensary. |
| How long does it take to set up and learn how to use it ? When buying one of the 2 products you get free training either over the telephone or on premise. The sales person will not hang-up or leave until you are comfortable using our products on your own. And remember, you can always call our Tech-support department where someone will be more than happy to assist you. |
| Can customers be left alone to use the Smart Dispensing Systems ? Our Smart Dispensing Systems were not designed for self-service because optical products, like frames, lenses, and contact lenses, are considered medical devices. Customers can however play around with our systems while they are waiting for service and can do no harm to them. In addition, while screens are dormant, or not in use, you can run product advertising, practice advertising, present consumer eye care information, etc. |
| Do these Smart Dispensing Systems qualify for any ADA tax benefits ? The expenditure on a Smart Dispensing System provides access to disabled individuals and may qualify for and ADA tax benefit. By installing a Smart Dispensing system, you are providing an effective method for making visually delivered materials available to individuals with visual impairments. As a result, many of our customers have worked with their accountants to create a significant tax benefit against the purchase of their Smart Dispensing System. |
